Days 1-2 | Franschhoek & Stellenbosch
Upon meeting your private guide in Stellenbosch you'll begin your culinary adventure with a drive to Franschhoek, a gem located in South Africa’s winelands for a tour of the town. During your time here you will visit one of the popular Food & Farmers’ Markets close to Stellenbosch and will find a colourful mix of quality artisanal and handcrafted products, and a delicious range of local delicacies, wines and craft beers. South Africa’s locals love these markets and you will taste their passion and love in every bite and sip! Throw in a couple of wine farms and your tour is off to an excellent start!

Days 3-4 | Swellendam
Next up you will leave the winelands for a short while to make your way to the ocean, driving along one of the most stunning coastal roads of the country you can enjoy panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. The road takes you along the False Bay and you may get to spot whales in Hermanus as you pass through. The region is well-known for making delicious cheeses and you can try some of them at a tasting when visiting a cheese farm. From Swellendam, Marloth Nature Reserve is on your doorstep with various hiking trails, as is the beautiful De Hoop Nature Reserve where you will be surrounded by white dunes, and possibly more gentle giants of the ocean.

Days 5-6 | Tulbagh
Time to explore another idyllic town at the heart of South Africa’s winelands, with grape vines as far as your eye can see lining the streets. You will visit one of the most well-known wine farms in the region, Saronsberg Cellar, and you'll sit back and enjoy the stunning views across the pond, the grape vines and the impressive mountains while you taste the local wines. You can’t miss out on a classic MCC-tasting on your culinary trip, so you're next destination is the Twee Jonge Gezellen wine farm, followed by a trip to the farm Lemoendrif, the origin of the award-winning Oakhurst olive oil, and finally a small boutique wine farm located just five minutes from Tulbagh where you can taste Pinot Noir, Pinotage, Shiraz, Sauvignon Blanc and Hárslevelü wines and learn to distinguish the characteristics of each type of grape.

Days 7-10 | Cape Town
Finally you leave the Tulbagh Valley behind and make your way back towards Cape Town, stopping for a short hike in the Helderberg reserve a short hike to enjoy the views across the False Bay and all the way to Table Mountain. During your final few days you'll take a trip down the peninsular to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope, taking a stunning coastal drive and stopping off to see the penguins on the way. With time at your leisure to explore the Mother City and its fabulous restaurants, you'll soon fall in love with this wonderful unique place.
